Care Guide
Care Guide
To care for your woollen garments, hand-washing is recommended over dry cleaning.
Use liquid hand soap, not regular detergent, in lukewarm water for a 5-minute soak. Gently squeeze, don't rub, the garment.
Rinse in warm water with a bit of almond oil for fragrance and wool restoration.
Afterward, roll the damp garment in a towel to remove excess water, reshape, and dry it flat on a clean towel, away from direct heat sources.
Ensure the garment is completely dry before storing it.

This design is a contemporary take on the Scottish fairisle yoke pattern with a small rib hem around the hip. Above the long rib cuffs is small pattern detailing mimicking a bracelet. Our colours take months to prepare and each year we offer new colourways. The cardigan is front opening and lined with grosgrain ribbon to hold the mother of pearl shell buttons. The cuffs are extra-long for extra warmth or to fit longer arms.
Knitted in 100% soft merino wool, spun in Yorkshire, North England.
Knitted in the EU by our small family run factory.
The shape and sizing is slim fit and is hip length.
Please see size guide for UK / EU / US sizing. If you enjoy a looser fit, please choose the next size up.
Matching accessories are available (made in Scotland)

The colors & fairisle yolk pattern of the Alpine Short Cardigan are gorgeous, modern & infused with tons of creative energy.
Yet, to be clear, the Slim Fit makes this sweater your knitted karmic reward as the most flattering silhouette in any fairisle.
In a knowing wink, a matronesquely figure is restored to that of olde tymes. The Slim Fit disappears the usual boxy, bringing the eye up to a siren’s playful display of color & pattern, which, in turn, graciously & generously attributes all the credit of admiration directly to the wearer’s natural beauty & coloring.
The button closure in cut-away format (lowest buttons left undone), neutralizes decades of inspired baking & living large, in fabled tradition —except it’s reality!
Bracelet styling @cuffs is the icing on this cake, & yet, the pattern is wisely not continued @hem (our heroine’s mid-section, at which, other styles’ chunky swaths of pattern & bright colors here inevitably beleaguers the eye of the beholder & unforgivably betrays the otherwise lovely beheld).
This formidable construction deftly manages attention, directing it to its lively fairisle halo uptop & svelte shaping. Perfect for happily-everaftering.

The End.
I love the design and the intricate pattern. The quality is also good, I love it so much that I have bought three in different colours.
Good product. Slightly overpriced. I did not that the product was manufactured in Eastern Europe. I bought it with the idea that it was made in Scotland. Anyway, good design. It is 100% lamb wool, warm, and feels good. People who received the jumpers/cardigans as Christmas gifts really liked them.
My Pink cardigan is wonderful. Have received lots of comments when wearing it. It fits well and is true to size.
Well made and beautiful colors.
